Description
Zoom H5 Handy Recorder (Brand New)
Kenyan journalists, filmmakers, musicians, and podcasters seeking professional-grade audio recording will find the ultimate tool in the Zoom H5 Handy Recorder. This compact 4-track portable recorder delivers exceptional audio quality, interchangeable microphone capsules, and versatile connectivity. Consequently, it has become the top choice for audio professionals across Kenya. ^CA
Exceptional Audio Quality with Interchangeable Capsule System
The Zoom H5 features a modular microphone system that allows you to swap capsules as easily as changing a camera lens. The included XYH-5 X/Y stereo capsule captures clear, phase-accurate audio with a tight stereo image. Additionally, the H5 handles up to 140 dB SPL, equivalent to a jet aircraft from close range. For this reason, you can record loud concerts, drums, or environmental sounds without distortion.
Four-Track Recording and Professional Inputs
The H5 provides four simultaneous recording tracks, enabling you to capture the built-in stereo microphone plus two external sources. The two XLR/TRS combo inputs support microphone and line-level signals with selectable phantom power. Each input has a dedicated gain control knob protected by a roll-bar cover. Moreover, the H5 uses the same high-quality, low-noise preamps as the flagship H6, ensuring pristine recordings in any environment.
Reliable Recording Features for Kenyan Professionals
The H5 includes Pre-Record, Auto-Record, and Backup-Record functions. Pre-Record captures two seconds of audio before you press record, ideal for unexpected starts. Backup-Record automatically creates a duplicate track at lower gain as a safety net. The H5 records continuously for about 15 hours on just two AA batteries. It stores audio directly to SD/SDHC cards up to 32GB.
Versatile Connectivity and USB Interface
The H5 functions as a 4-in/2-out USB audio interface for recording directly to your computer. The Line Out with adjustable volume lets you send audio to a camera without an attenuator cable. You can monitor with headphones while feeding audio to your DSLR simultaneously. The H5 also includes a 3.5mm input for lavalier microphones and a headphone jack with dedicated volume control.
Perfect for Kenyan Content Creators
This recorder is ideal for podcasters in Nairobi, documentary filmmakers in the Maasai Mara, and musicians recording in studios across Kenya. The compact design makes it easy to carry on location shoots, while the rugged construction withstands the demands of field recording.
