Description
Logitech H151 wired Stereo Headset With Noise Cancelling Mic (Brand New)
Logitech H151 Wired Stereo Headset (981-000587) – Kenya’s Practical Single-Jack Solution for Clear Calls
Kenyan professionals, students, and remote workers often need a simple, reliable headset that works across multiple devices. The Logitech H151 Stereo Headset (Part Number: 981-000587) delivers exactly that. This lightweight, wired on-ear headset features a single 3.5mm jack, making it compatible with most modern laptops, smartphones, and tablets straight out of the box. As a result, it has become a popular choice for everyday communication across Kenya. ^E
What Does This Headset Deliver?
The H151 is built for clear, straightforward audio. You get full stereo sound for voice and video calls, music, games, and other applications. The rotating boom microphone can be positioned on either the left or right side, giving you flexibility in how you wear it. When you are not speaking, the boom tucks neatly out of the way. The microphone reduces background noise, helping your voice come through more clearly during online meetings and calls.
Comfort and Build Quality
Logitech designed this headset with extended use in mind. The adjustable headband offers a broad range of fit for different head sizes, while the ultra-soft foam ear cushions provide comfort during long sessions. The headset weighs approximately 80 grams, keeping it light on your head. The cable measures 1.8 metres, giving you comfortable room to move at your desk. In-line controls on the cable let you adjust volume or mute calls without disrupting your conversation.
Compatibility You Need to Know
This is the most important detail for Kenyan buyers. The H151 uses a single 3.5mm audio jack, which means it works with devices that have a combined headphone and microphone port. This includes most modern slim laptops, smartphones, tablets, and MacBooks. If your computer has separate green and red audio jacks, you will need a splitter adapter, which is not included. The headset works across Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, Linux, iOS, and Android platforms. It is plug-and-play, requiring no drivers or software installation.
Practical Uses for Kenyan Users
The H151 suits everyday video calls on Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Students can use it for online classes and listening to lectures. Remote workers can take calls without disturbing others in shared spaces. The rotating microphone and in-line controls make it convenient for quick adjustments during meetings. For basic music listening and casual use, the stereo sound is adequate. Some users note that the noise-cancelling feature works better for nearby sounds than for very loud background noise, so it performs best in reasonably quiet environments.
